Giorgi Oboladze is one of the pioneers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Georgia and a key figure in the development of this sport. He was the first to start the systematic development of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Georgia and opened a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in 2014. He is the President of the National Federation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu of Georgia (since 2023) and the founder of the Georgia Jiu-Jitsu Tour (2022) - a platform that has played a significant role in establishing a competitive professional Jiu-Jitsu environment in Georgia. In 2014, Giorgi Oboladze founded Club Gladius, which today is one of the leading martial arts academies in Georgia. As the head coach, he creates a high-level system of technical, physical, and mental training based on discipline, strategy, and continuous development. Giorgi Oboladze holds a Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt - IV Dan and is a World Champion and winner of many other international tournaments (Japanese Jiu-Jitsu), as well as a professional Krav Maga instructor with many years of experience in special physical training and tactical professional exercises. In parallel with his sports activities, he is the Chief Specialist for Construction, Standardization, and Occupational Safety at SOCAR Georgia Gas nationwide. Giorgi Oboladze holds a higher education degree and is a doctoral candidate. His work combines sports achievements, instructorship, and strategic leadership, making him one of the most prominent figures in martial arts in Georgia.
