Giorgi Oboladze is one of the pioneers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Georgia and one of the leading figures in the development of this sport in the country. He was the first to begin the systematic development of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Georgia and founded a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in 2014. Since 2023, he has served as the President of the Georgian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu National Federation and is one of the founders of the Georgian Jiu-Jitsu Tour (2022) — a platform that has played a significant role in establishing a professional and competitive Jiu-Jitsu environment in Georgia. In 2014, Giorgi Oboladze founded Club Gladius, which today is recognized as one of the leading combat sports academies in Georgia. As the head coach, he has developed a high-level technical, physical, and mental training system based on discipline, strategy, and continuous improvement. Giorgi Oboladze holds a 6th Dan Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu and is a World Champion in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, as well as the winner of numerous international tournaments. He is a professional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor, a professional instructor of the special Krav Maga program, and the author of implementing this system within the educational field. He has many years of experience in special physical preparation and tactical professional training. Alongside his sporting career, he serves as the Chief Specialist for Construction, Standardization, and Occupational Safety at SOCAR Georgia Gas nationwide. Giorgi Oboladze holds higher education degrees and is currently a doctoral candidate. His professional activity combines athletic achievements, instruction, and strategic leadership, making him one of the leading figures in combat sports in Georgia.
