Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (GI / NO GI)

Gladius is one of the largest and most international Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies in Georgia. Founded in 2014, it became the first academy in the country to professionally develop and systematically teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The academy teaches both GI and NO-GI Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Gladius is the official representative of Gracie Barra in Georgia — one of the world’s most recognized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organizations. Belt promotions are conducted according to the official Gracie Barra curriculum and international certification standards. All classes are conducted simultaneously in three languages — Georgian, English, and Russian — creating a truly international training environment. Today, athletes from 34 different nationalities train at Gladius, including both girls and boys, children and adults. The academy’s international standard is strengthened by a multinational coaching team consisting of professional instructors from Georgia, Brazil, Azerbaijan, and Argentina. The mission of Gladius is not only to build strong athletes and champions, but also to develop disciplined, confident, and successful individuals. Training helps students improve not only physical abilities, but also mental resilience, leadership, self-control, respect, teamwork, and fast decision-making skills. Today, Gladius stands as one of the largest and fastest-growing martial arts academies in Georgia, where sport, education, discipline, and international experience come together in one place.
